Zielone AGRO SHOW & Animal Show 2025 – Summary

Zielone (Green) Agro Show 2025, which took place on May 24–25 at the MotoPark in Ułęż (Lublin Voivodeship), once again confirmed its position as one of the most important agricultural events in Poland. This year’s 22nd edition gathered a record number of 168 exhibitors, representing an increase compared to previous years and reflecting the growing interest in modern technologies and agricultural machinery within the industry.

In order to maintain safety measures related to infectious animal diseases, such as foot-and-mouth disease, the organizer has decided to cancel this year’s animal exhibitions, except for horse shows. Instead, participants had the opportunity to attend specialized conferences and seminars dedicated to cattle, goat, and sheep breeding, which attracted significant interest.

Zielone AGRO SHOW & Animal Show 2025 – Summary

Despite unfavorable weather on Saturday, Sunday proved to be very successful both in terms of visitor numbers and weather conditions. It is estimated that approximately 23,000 people attended the exhibition over the two days.

Zielone AGRO SHOW & Animal Show 2025 – Summary

One of the main highlights of the exhibition were the dynamic demonstrations of forage machinery, which are the largest shows of this type of equipment in the country. The demonstrations featured 30 sets of machines that showcased their capabilities in field conditions on specially prepared plots. These included mowers, tedders, rakes, balers and bale wrappers, as well as forage harvesters and self-loading trailers. This form of presentation allows farmers to directly compare the efficiency of various machines, while the professional commentary provided by the hosts further enhanced the educational value of the demonstrations.

The diverse range of agricultural machinery makes choosing a specific model a complex decision. An excellent way to compare different options is to see the machines and equipment in operation, which was possible during the Zielone AGRO SHOW 2025. During the forage machinery demonstrations, the technological process carried out on grasslands was presented. Visitors had the opportunity to admire modern solutions related to the design and operation of the machines showcased during two demonstrations.

Zielone AGRO SHOW & Animal Show 2025 – Summary

In the first demonstration, the operation of mowers produced by CLAAS, Kuhn, Maschio Gaspardo, McHale, SaMASZ, SIP, SIPMA, and Talex was presented. Visitors could observe the work of individual mowers and their sets with varying working widths. During the demonstrations, attention was drawn to solutions protecting the cutter bar from damage, systems for parking the machines during stops, and features preventing grass from wrapping around the equipment. Visitors were particularly interested in modern adaptations for ground contour following and terrain copying, as well as innovations in the design of the supporting frame and the arms of the mowing-transport units. The possibilities of adjusting belts to working conditions and regulating the way the cut material is laid down, as well as quick disk assembly, were also discussed. The machine designers participating in the mower demonstration also focused on developing appropriate skid constructions, cutting disks, augers, and safety systems.

Viewers also had the opportunity to see the operation of tedders manufactured by McHale, SaMASZ, and SIP. Attention was paid to solutions for unfolding, lifting, and lowering the machines, as well as features enabling precise terrain following. The high efficiency of the individual machines was emphasized, along with explanations of working methods that result in optimal forage pickup.

The first demonstration also featured the work of rakes from CLAAS, Kuhn, Maschio Gaspardo, McHale, SaMASZ, and SIP. During their presentation, focus was placed on machine efficiency, the ability to work in different row formation modes, new solutions related to the design of pick-up units, and systems that reduce ground pressure and protect the turf. Visitors showed interest in solutions allowing easy adjustment of finger attack angles and options facilitating machine operation, innovative rotor suspension, and dynamic load detection. Attention was also given to the possibility of adjusting rotor tilt and solutions aimed at reducing contamination.

The second demonstration featured round balers—both fixed-chamber and variable-chamber models—produced by Maschio Gaspardo, McHale, and SIPMA. Visitors showed great interest in solutions such as the carefully designed rotors, floor drop systems, and efficient net wrapping mechanisms. The importance of systems enabling smooth and even feeding of material from the pick-up was also emphasized. During the operation of McHale’s self-loading  bale wrapper, attention was drawn to the ability to quickly, evenly, and precisely apply film to the bale, as well as the film cutting and holding system.

The demonstration also showcased the operation of baler-wrapper machines manufactured by CLAAS, GӦWEIL, Kuhn, and McHale. During their runs, topics such as modern drive systems and solutions preventing bale tipping after unloading were discussed. Systems allowing film application directly onto the bale inside the pressing chamber and automatic features facilitating operator work attracted particular attention.

Additionally, the demonstration presented the operation of a forage harvester produced by CLAAS. Visitors were interested, among other things, in the automatic drum floor adjustment and engine power management system.

One of the machines featured in the demonstration was also a fertilizer spreader by Kubota. Participants were impressed by the ability to maintain a programmed dose regardless of changing working speed, a module allowing real-time monitoring of the machine’s location and operating parameters, and automatic maintenance of the required height above the sown surface.

Zielone AGRO SHOW & Animal Show 2025 – Summary

The machines participating in the demonstrations were submitted by their manufacturers or regional representatives. After the demonstrations, visitors had the opportunity to take a closer look at individual machines and discuss the most interesting aspects with the representatives of the companies present at the event.

The exhibition gathered a wide range of manufacturers, dealers, and importers of agricultural machinery, suppliers of agrotechnical technologies, feed companies, and advisory institutions. In addition to machine demonstrations and conferences, Zielone Agro Show offered presentations of market innovations as well as a space for exchanging knowledge and experience between farmers and industry experts. This event serves as an excellent platform to familiarize oneself with the latest technological solutions that support efficient agricultural production and animal husbandry.

The 22nd edition of the Zielone Agro Show 2025 once again became a venue for showcasing modern machinery and technologies, as well as an important event integrating the agricultural community. Despite challenges related to weather and epidemiological restrictions, the event was a great success in terms of attendance and organization, confirming its role as a key event in the calendar of Polish agriculture.
